The Things I never said

I never told you how much I love you
how your able to put a smile on my face with the simplest things you do
my heart beats like a drum in a parade when you hold me
it feels as if we were ment to be
I never told you how I cried for your love
I'm afriad to tell you afraid my heart would get pushed or shoved.

so I keep it quietly inside so you wouldn't know
I pretend not to care so my love won't show.
I never told you how I dreamed of carrying you baby
or the day we say "I do" then I could be your lady
hold our first newborn in our hands
pray that our love never fades away and we both understand.

I never told you about the day in our backyard
when you gave me that Valentine Day card
I didn't want to marry Will Smith no more
cause my heart opened up another door
we swinged together late in the afternoons while you tell me about your dream girl
I giggled but deep down inside that little 8 yr old wanted to be that girl.

I never told you who I loved that ring you gave in in 5th grade
who much I prayed for that for our friendship love to never fade away
Did I ever tell you when our love elope
how we laughed because you thought it was a joke
but really my heart felt as if it was broken in two.

for a moment I felt as if my world went blue
I never told you how we grew apart
but even though we have one thing that has captured our hearts.
